5 Songs for Your Spring Workout Playlist

The right playlist is an integral part of any workout. The right song fuels a workout and the wrong one can completely de-rail it.

No pressure. :)

Even with such high stakes, you gotta shake up that playlist from time to time so here are 5 suggestions that might be just what you're looking for.

Abbie Gamboa - There Goes That Man

The first track is a song that probably feels like it doesn’t belong in a squat rack. It starts quiet and slow but don’t stop there. When you hit the two minute mark, it starts to build until it absolutely explodes. This came up in a shuffle while I was in the gym last week and it wrecked me. It was hard to hold in the tears but it also supercharged some sets. It doesn’t just make the cut. It’s at the top of the list.

Capital Kings - Get Lifted

Haven’t heard much from Capital Kings in a while but they’re back with “Get Lifted”.  With a title like that, there is a “Do You Even Lift, Bro?” joke in here somewhere if you try hard enough.

Grace Graber - You Say

“What if Lauren Daigle was a little more pop-punk?” I’ve never asked that question either but Grace Graber did AND she answered it. If you love this sound, make sure you check out the album which is loaded with worship in the same style. Almost any of it would make a great gym soundtrack.

Bodie - Obsessed

Bodie is no stranger to WayFM or my gym playlists. My biggest complaint? It’s short! I’m reaching for the back button so I can stretch it over multiple sets.

Anike - Holy Girls! (WERK)

Lyrically, Anike takes you on a spin through female leaders in the Bible. Musically, she will have you dancing around the cardio machines with a stank face that’ll have people wanting a copy of your playlist.

Congrats on making it to the bottom of this list! If you've got suggestions, send them to me! I'd love to hear them!
