How We Choose Music:

All music submissions are carefully reviewed based on the following criteria:

• Lyrics & Message – Does it align with WayFM’s mission and values?
• Production Quality – Is the recording professionally produced and radio-ready?
• Genre & Style – Does it fit WayFM’s sound and audience preferences?

Important Notes on Music Submissions:

Due to the high volume of submissions, WayFM does not offer song review or evaluation services. If you’re looking for resources on artist development, we encourage you to visit the Gospel Music Association.

We highly recommend working with an independent radio promoter or representative before submitting your music directly to the station. These professionals can help increase your exposure to multiple stations and audiences nationwide. Here are some trusted radio promoters that WayFM regularly connects with:

A Few More Things to Know:

WayFM does not charge artists to review or play music. (In fact, it’s illegal for radio stations to accept money in exchange for airplay.) While some promoters may charge for their services, WayFM is not involved in those discussions.

There is no guarantee that your song will be played. If your song is selected for airplay, a WayFM team member will contact you or your representative.

Finally, please know this: If your song is not selected for airplay, it does not mean you aren’t talented or that we don’t love your music. It simply means it doesn’t fit our current playlist. We’re still cheering you on and praying that God uses your music—and all the other gifts He’s given you—for His glory!
