Fear is something that I deal with so much in my life as an artist. I mean, I never thought I would be an artist and so there's a lot of fear that comes with that. What if I fail? What if nobody likes my songs? What if this isn't what I'm supposed to do? So, "I Stand Here" is my anthem of... I'm laying down the fear in me and I'm claiming the peace that only God can give me. I read this verse in Proverbs [12:20] last night... it said, "Plan for peace and you will know joy." I think I need to plan for peace way more in my life. My life is crazy and hectic and I'm always planning things but God is the only one who can bring us peace.
