There's something incredible about the power of music and how a song can speak truth and hope into our lives. During our most recent segment of "Group Therapy," we heard how Hillary Scott's song "Thy Will" spoke to three different people during their darkest moments.

Christine

I foster children, and we had a sibling group of 3 that I had fallen in love with. The older one said that she didn't like the attention I was giving her younger siblings, so she made up some lies to get them taken away from me. It sent me into a deep depression. So when I heard this song, it was everything that my prayer was. I did want God's will, but I felt there were times when God didn't hear my prayers.

For the past few months, I've been dealing with a lot of changes in life that are completely out of my control. I've been at the point of committing suicide about 12 times over the past few months. Every single time I get to that point, for some reason, this song comes on. It makes me remember that it's not about me--it's about what He is trying to do with me.

My husband had a seizure behind the wheel back in March with our entire family in the car. We ended up in the ditch and could've died. He's been praying for years for healing, but we're still trying to get his seizures under control. I couldn't understand why God was letting this happen. Through all of this, I think of this song and the line, "I know you hear me…I know you see me." It reminds me that He hasn't left me. It takes faith to pray "Thy will be done" and believe it.
