What Sadly Hasn't Changed in 30 Years

From: BekahA lot has happened in the last 30 years. We have seen literal walls come down, the internet now fits in our pocket, and a hoodie-wearing tech nerd became a billionaire.
But sadly, there are places like the village of Kitunguru in Uganda that have seen very little change over that same 30 year time. It is almost like time has forgotten them.
They still walk great distances, carry heavy jugs, and collect water from the same stagnant water sources that they have used for the last 30 years. And they will be forced to continue this unhealthy pattern unless someone intervenes.
We can't change the past, but I love that we have the opportunity to write a new story for their future. These are the faces of just some of the children who will have their lives forever altered thanks to you.
One village elder told me that others have visited and said they were going to hep, but didn't. Then he said something that will stick with me forever:
"Since we have seen you, we now have hope."That's how this works. We are not just bringing water to these people. Water is the vehicle for hope, and when that hope is delivered in the name of Jesus, lives are changed.
