Cooking with Compassion
Posted 11 hours ago - Feb 28, 2025
From: WallyWhen I cook for my wife at home, I want to make her something good, but I know if I mess up we can just order pizza. That is not an option when you are feeding kids at a Compassion project. You have to get it right. Especially when this might be the only meal they get that day. Â
I was told to make sure every plate got a piece of meat (not sure what the meat was, but I did not ask too many questions:) I just knew I didn't want to shortchange any of these hungry kids. So, I might have been slow, and might not have had a hairnet on, but I really did my best to make sure each kid got a great meal.
